“The term 'Omega Leader' is also a word that I coined in my first book Jesus, CEO. In management we are all familiar with the Alpha (Authoritative) and Beta (Feminine/Cooperative) styles of managing. I began to study the leadership and management style of Jesus as he worked with his team (He had staffing problems, too, as he went from 12 to 11 on his team). It sparked my interest then and continues to show up in my writings today. Jesus' style was a blend of both the Alpha and Beta. He bookends this as well when he says. "I am the Alpha and Omega." He is the ultimate model for looking deeper into how his personal mission advanced by embracing both styles and raising the bar. He was an Omega Leader.” – Laurie Beth Jones
The Omega Leader Series helps individuals who are called to leadership advance their mission. In the Five-Part Series, we look at the model of the Omega Leader in these areas: Leader as CEO, Leader and Spiritual Formation, Leader as Team Player, Leader as Spiritreneur and Leader as Coach. Every Thursday we share via internet radio with leaders and discuss and dialogue from one of the five Omega Leader areas.
The Omega Leader Program is a Coach/Mentor program designed to strengthen both female and male leadership styles by using the Alpha and the Beta styles to create Omega Leaders.
